The team finished 2nd in first meet of the season at Athens Academy. The team was led by the top 5 finishers of David Whitson, Aurelio Montano, Ben Klein, Pablo Alberto, and Paul Malquist.

GHS Boys Cross Country team finished 2nd at the West Hall Invitational on 9/15/2009. The Individual results were: David Whitson 17:30 ( 5th overall), Aurelio Montano 17:41 ( 6th overall), Pablo Alberto 18:07 ( 12th overall), Paul Malquist 18:37 ( 21st overall), Luis Quintana 18:48 ( 26th overall), Ben Klein 18:59 ( 29th overall), and Luis Martinez 19:47 (50th overall)

The Boys Cross Country team finished 3rd out of 22 teams on September 29th at the Wesleyan Invitational. Aurelio Montano finished 2nd and David Whitson finished 4th out of 200 runners. Other scorers for the team were Luis Quintana(30th), Paul Malquist(34th), and Ben Klein(53rd). Please congratulate these young men when you see them. They work extremely hard and are continuing to improve as a group.
